Kirky's Procrastination Station

Hey!  I’m Kristin (known to my very best friends as Kirky) and I’m a small town girl from Washington State, now residing in the Boston area where I live with two awesome guys, a cat, two parakeets, and an ever changing quantity of fish!  I moved to Boston in the summer of 2006 for an internship with a well-known regional theatre… and never left!  They decided to keep me around, so I work as a theatrical carpenter, painter, and occasional CAD drafter.  The arts are a huge part of my life and music is what keeps me going.  I’m an incurable nerd at heart and I think the weirdest people are amazing.  Normal is boring.  During the work week, I’m just one of the guys, covered in sawdust and paint and steel shavings.  And on the weekends, I pretend to be a domestic goddess with just a wee bit of pin-up girl hidden inside.  You want to dress up like pirates and go floating down a river in an inflatable kiddy pool, yelling at fishermen using a road cone as a megaphone?  I’m your girl.  Wanna bake 1000 cupcakes and sell them to sugar-addicted geeks at an anime convention, while dressed as maids?  Done that!  Sometimes my hair is purple.  Sometimes I’d like to be a hermit, sometimes I just want to snuggle.  So without going into a huge amount of detail, that’s Kirky.
